In 1916 Albert Einstein published what is now called the current description of Gravity; it was his theory of Relativity. Relativity is the geometric theory of gravitation, and it what is used in modern physics to describe Gravity.
Relativity puts together special relativity, Newton’s Law of Universal Gravitation, and makes it part of the geometry of Spacetime. All known Predictions and experiments with General Relativity have been confirmed and said to be correct from what we know about gravitational time dilation, the Gravitational Red-Shift of light and Gravitational Time Delay. This theory helps support the existence of Black Holes in space, Gravitational lensing, and Gravitational Waves.
